Meeting Minutes

Fundraising

  • Pumpkin Lighting (October 29, 2024 – 5:30-7:30)
    • Still need volunteers – 30 min sign up spots available
    • Trunk of treat – lots of candy!!! 
      • Will be held in the BBQ courts
      • We have multiple tower lights to help with lighting
    • This year – no inflatables because we will have inflatables on 11/1 for the Day of Awesome.
    • Lot of fun activities planned for the evening – juggler, petting zoo, haunted hallway, games, etc. 
  • Step It Up Fundraiser
    • Currently over 80% participation
    • We have raised ~ $9000 so far!  We have another week to go. 
    • Prizes will not go out until next Friday – Nov. 1st
    • Day of Awesome – Nov 1st  Students will go through “obstacle course”.  Not running laps like Boosterthon
      • Schedule is on the agenda
    • Volunteer sign ups – not a spectator.  Will be “manning” stations or delivering prizes. 
    • Kids seem excited. 
  • Future Fundraisers – will hopefully fundraise through our own website
    • Step It Up has been good but we don’t take in 100% of the fundraising.  They take a large portion.
  • House of Refuge Canned Food drive – 11/4-11/8 – top raising class will win a party courtesy of the Home Selling Team

8/1 – Curriculum night

8/2 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

8/22 – Ice Cream Social (5:30-6:30 – Free event)

September:

9/6 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

9/30 – Fall Break starts

October:

10/14 – School resumes

10/21 – Step It Up starts

10/24 – General PTO meeting

10/29 – Pumpkin Lighting (Free event)

November:

11/1 – Day of Awesomeness – Step It Up fundraiser ends

11/16 – Holiday Bliss (Power Ranch Barn) – craft festival, food trucks. Proceeds go to Centennial and Power Ranch. 

December:

12/6 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

12/18 – Jingle Jog *parent lunch – prepaid meals will be available for families to enjoy lunch with their students*

12/20 – Winter Break

January:

1/6 – School resumes

1/30 – Pastries with Parents (7:45-8:05 am)

February:

2/7 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

March:

3/7 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

3/10-3/21 – Spring Break

April:

4/4 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts

5/2 – Fun Friday – $1 Donuts
